Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Employer's home. Tasks: Change diapers. Follow parents' lead with toilet training . Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Supervise and care for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Experience: Will train. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Supports for visible minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
