Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and helping patients with medical supplies and home health care.
Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards
- Assist clients with medical supplies including compression stockings and 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
- Maintain pharmacy records such as invoices and prescription files
Qualifications:
- Retail or health-related experienced preferred, but not required. Training will be provided
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
