The Program/Policy Officer IV supports the joint management of the Sirmilik National Park and Tallurutiup Imanga National Marine Conservation Area in Nunavut, between Parks Canada, Inuit partners and other government departments. It also involves coordinating consultations with communities, local organizations and a wide range of stakeholders.The position will require working closely with both internal and external partners to organize regular joint management meetings and consultations, while ensuring progress reports are up to date. This includes, but is not limited to, providing logistic and technical supports, liaising directly with partners to develop agendas and compile supporting documents, coordinating minute taking, ensuring timely implementation of follow-ups and action items; and contracting professional services. Additionally, the position will be responsible for drafting documents and providing advice to management on matters related to the joint management of Sir- LocationIqaluit, NU
