Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: On foot. Tasks: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Accept payment or invoices for items delivered. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Prepare, package and restock goods. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Load and unload goods. Sort packages for delivery. Follow directions and read map. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Provide customer service. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Walking. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Cellular phone. Gloves. Personal suitability: Flexibility.
