*Job Overview: Live-In Caregiver* We are looking for a *compassionate and committed Live-In Caregiver* to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide round-the-clock support to individuals who require assistance in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have caregiving experience, a nurturing personality, and a sincere desire to enhance the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This is a *live-in position*, requiring the caregiver to reside in the client?s home for scheduled days, offering consistent care, companionship, and safety. *Responsibilities* * Provide *24-hour support*, including personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing. * Assist clients with *mobility, positioning, and safe transfers* throughout the day and night. * Offer *emotional support and companionship*, encouraging conversation, recreation, and mental stimulation. * Administer medication and assist with *monitoring health conditions*, noting changes and communicating with family or healthcare providers. * Perform *light housekeeping* tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living space (e.g., laundry, dishes, bed linens). * Support daily living needs, including *meal prep, shopping, appointments*, and running errands as required. * Maintain *detailed documentation* of care provided and any significant changes in the client?s condition or behavior. *Skills & Qualifications* * Proven experience in *caregiving, live-in care*, or home support roles; senior care experience preferred. * Understanding of *dementia care and chronic condition management* is highly desirable. * Ability to *live on-site with clients* for scheduled shifts. * Strong communication and *interpersonal skills* with a calm, patient, and caring demeanor. * Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work *independently*. * Basic knowledge of *home safety, hygiene, and medication reminders*. * *CPR/First Aid certification*, police background check, and references may be required.
