Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Room and board provided. Urban area. Work in employer's/client's home. Relocation costs covered by employer. Employer's home. Tasks: Care for pets. Administer bedside and personal care. Administer medications. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk. Change non-sterile dressings. Collect specimens. Feed or assist in feeding. Launder clothing and household linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Plan therapeutic diets and menus. Provide companionship. Provide personal care. Shop for food and household supplies. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Cook. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Health Care Aide Certificate. Target audience: Adults. Females.
