Job Posting ? Driving Instructors (Class 5 License) - Service Contract ? Northern Quebec (Nunavik) SERESPRO is currently seeking three (3) certified driving instructors (Class 5) to deliver both theoretical and practical driver education in the northern communities . The instructors will be responsible for teaching the official driver training program and preparing candidates for the SAAQ road test.This mandate is part of a larger initiative aimed at serving over 500 candidates per session across the three communities.Contract Details<ul><li>Initial duration: 12 months</li><li>Renewals: Possibility of two (2) additional 12-month renewals (maximum contract duration: 3 years)</li><li>Probation period: 3 months</li><li>Flexible options: Initial 6-month contracts available</li></ul>Schedule & Location<ul><li>Work schedule: 35 hours per week (flexible schedule, evening and weekend work possible depending on demand)</li><li>Work locations: Northern Quebec</li><li>Number of sessions: 2 sessions planned for 2025; up to 3 if the contract is renewed</li></ul>Main Responsibilities<ul><li>Teach road safety rules and safe driving practices</li><li>Prepare candidates for the SAAQ Class 5 practical exam, including simulator-based training</li><li>Adapt teaching methods to match the needs and profiles of learners</li><li>Produce weekly, monthly, and biannual reports using Excel</li><li>Use the Quebec Driving Schools Association (AECQ) platform for tracking student progress</li><li>Communicate confidentially with the SAAQ and government agencies when required</li><li>Perform basic administrative tasks (calls, scheduling, updating student records)</li><li>Provide all required documentation to SERESPRO in a timely manner</li><li>Support recruitment efforts for potential future instructors</li><li>Participate in meetings with partners when requested by SERESPRO</li></ul>Candidate ProfileOnly candidates who meet all of the following criteria will be considered. No exceptions will be made.Mandatory Requirements<ul><li>Valid SAAQ certification (Class 5) with instructor number</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience teaching driver education</li><li>Practical experience using driving simulators</li><li>Bilingualism required: French and English</li><li>Strong teaching and interpersonal skills</li><li>Intermediate proficiency in the following tools: Excel, Outlook, Teams, Adobe, AECQ platform</li><li>Good physical condition and ability to work in a northern environment (e.g., extreme weather, remote locations)</li><li>Demonstrated interest in working with Northern Quebec communities and adapting to local culture</li><li>Ability to work independently with professionalism, patience, ethics, and teamwork</li></ul>Costs Covered by SERESPRO<ul><li>Travel and accommodations (instructor is responsible for planning logistics)</li><li>Cargo allowance: 60 kg of personal belongings and 485 kg of food per instructor, per year</li></ul>Costs Not Covered by SERESPRO<ul><li>Internet fees</li><li>Cargo overage charges</li><li>Personal insurance (mandatory ?
