*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting and be proficient in various techniques necessary for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. This role requires a keen understanding of blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site. This job is camp based at a project south of Fort McMurray, Alberta. No LOA is provided. This position is open to employee and contractors.
*Duties*
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems.
* Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems according to specifications.
* Perform field dimension checks and verify piping dimensions and orientations.
* Rig pipes and equipment safely for installation or maintenance.
* Supervise crews and third party contractors
* Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements and ensure accuracy in installations.
* Collaborate with the Construction Manager to ensure schedules and quaility of workmanship are adhered to.
* Complete field level quality documents and assist QC personnel as needed.
* Follow the safety program and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
*Experience*
* Proven proficiency and experience as a Foreman Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
* Ability to measure piping components and confirm dimension checks for blueprints.
* Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to piping systems.
* Familiarity with SAGD systems is preferred but not mandatory.
* Basic math skills are essential for accurate measurements and calculations.
* A commitment to safety practices and maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed.
