Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: At heights. Hot. Noisy. Outdoors. Work setting: Commercial. Residential. Various locations. Tasks: Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster. Clean and prepare surfaces. Cure freshly plastered surfaces. Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required. Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency. Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim. Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Hard hat. Safety glasses/goggles. Steel-toed safety boots. Tools. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Reliability. Employment terms options: Early morning.
