*Overview* We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This paid apprenticeship is designed to support your growth into a skilled mechanic, with opportunities for professional development and career advancement. *Responsibilities* * Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems * Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks * Follow schematics and technical manuals to accurately execute repairs * Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance services * Support the assembly and disassembly of automotive components during repairs * Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency * Learn to interpret diagnostic codes and utilize diagnostic equipment under supervision * Assist with vehicle inspections, testing, and quality control checks before returning vehicles to customers *Experience* * Prior experience is a plus but not required; relevant mechanical or automotive training is beneficial * Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with automotive repair is preferred * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding, schematics, and assembly processes is advantageous * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles for extended periods * Customer service skills are valued for interacting professionally with clients * Previous mechanic experience or maintenance background will support successful learning in this role This apprenticeship position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive technology to gain practical skills in a professional setting.
