We focus on clean work, good communication, and doing the job right the first time. *Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/woman Plumber/Gasfitter to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems in residential, commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, safety awareness, and technical expertise. *Duties* * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with building codes and safety standards * Install and service gas lines and fittings for residential and commercial properties * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs * Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete tasks efficiently * Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repair projects * Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues * Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems into building projects * Troubleshoot issues using basic math skills and technical schematics to identify root causes of problems * Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety protocols at all times *Qualifications* * Valid Journeyman/woman plumber or gasfitter license required * Proven experience with plumbing, gas fitting, HVAC systems, or related fields preferred * Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding, carpentry, and schematics reading * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently * Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs * Experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is highly desirable * Knowledge of construction practices, maintenance procedures, and safety standards is essential * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments This position is integral to ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of plumbing systems across multiple projects.
