Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform animal grooming activities . Perform livestock feeding. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Treat livestock health issues. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Formulate feeding program. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops.
