We're looking forsomeone organized, personable, and detail-oriented to help keep the day-to-day runningsmoothly - from events and rentals to guest communication and inventory.Position OverviewWe're hiring a Part-Time Events Coordinator to support event and rental coordination,guest communications, and light operational tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives onstaying organized, enjoys talking to people (even through a screen), and takes pride in the smalldetails that make a business feel well-run.Hours: Part-time, flexible schedule (specific hours/days to be discussed) Reports to: Ownership/ManagementKey ResponsibilitiesEvents & Rentals? Respond to incoming event and private rental inquiries? Coordinate scheduling, availability, and logistics for bookings? Track event details and communicate requirements to relevant staff? Follow up with clients before and after events to ensure smooth execution? Calendar management for tours and event/rental bookings? Support team with surprise and delight giftingGuest Communications? Monitor and respond to Instagram and other social media DMs in a warm, on-brand voice? Respond to Google reviews (both positive and constructive) in a professional andthoughtful tone? Manage the shared inbox, triaging and responding to customer questions or routing themto the right person? General administrative requirementsWhat We're Looking For? Strong written communication skills - clear, warm, and professional? Comfortable managing multiple ongoing conversations and requests at once? Detail-oriented and reliable with basic cash-handling and recordkeeping? Friendly, proactive, and comfortable representing BookBar's voice publicly? Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing admin roles is a plus? A genuine interest in books and/or bar culture is a bonus, not a requirement? 20 hours with a flexible schedule.
