Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Automotive manufacturing. General manufacturing. Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Measuring tools: Micrometers. Callipers. Gauges. Verniers. Equipment and machinery experience: Drill presses. Milling machines. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Initiative.
