Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Hindi. Panjabi; Punjabi. Tasks: Load and unload goods. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Type of trucking and equipment: Flatbed. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Long-haul. Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Valid passport. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel overnight.
