The Job responsibilities will include:
* Event Planning and Coordination: Assist the Domestic Programs Team in planning, organizing, and executing youth-focused events, ensuring they align with the organization's goals and engage participants effectively.
* Youth Activity and Campaign Planning: Coordinate and help plan a variety of activities, events, and campaigns for youth participants, fostering their personal and social development.
* Project Design and Development: Contribute to designing youth development projects, defining scope and objectives, engaging key stakeholders, and ensuring the technical feasibility of initiatives.
* Monitoring and Progress Tracking: Develop detailed plans to track the progress of youth development projects, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to ensure goals are met and resources are effectively utilized.
* Reporting and Updates: Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of youth programs and events, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
* Volunteer Supervision and Data Management: Assist in supervising volunteers, maintain accurate records of participant and volunteer information, track resources, and ensure proper data entry and documentation for all activities.
* Administrative and Documentation Support: Manage and submit all required documentation, ensuring that all necessary reports, evaluations, and records are properly completed and stored.
* Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management to support the successful execution of youth programs and organizational objectives.
Skills/Qualifications:
* Minimum Education requirement is a Secondary School Diploma
* Experience with Youth activities and programs
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Must be a team player and willing to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, conflicting demands, frequent interruptions, and heavy workloads
* Be willing to work long hours when required
* Self-disciplined with ability to work without close oversight
* Excellent time-management and organization skills demonstrating the ability to multitask with precision in each task
* Proven experience in event planning or a related field within the hospitality industry
* Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on upselling services to enhance the event experience
* Strong budgeting skills to manage event expenses within allocated budgets
* Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
