*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all vehicles are serviced to the highest standards. *Responsibilities* * *Oil and Fluid Changes*: Perform quick and efficient oil and fluid changes, including engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and coolant. * *Vehicle Inspections*: Conduct basic vehicle checks such as tire pressure, air filters, belts, and hoses to ensure vehicle safety and performance. * *Customer Service*: Provide clear and professional communication with customers, explaining recommended services and answering questions. * *Maintain Cleanliness*: Keep the service area and tools clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. * *Sales *: Advise customers on additional maintenance services such as tire rotations, air conditioning checks, and wiper blade replacements. * *Supervise *: Supervise other technicians and take management responsibilities. *Skills* * Proficiency in automotive repair techniques with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. * Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. * Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not required. * Capability for heavy lifting as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks. * On-Hand training will be given Join our dynamic team where your skills will be valued, and you can grow your career in the automotive industry!
