*Candidate Profile*
The ideal candidate has a background in control system integration, electrical engineering, or similar with experience in HMI/SCADA development and implementation. You take pride in delivering well-executed, high-quality solutions, and bring a client-focused mindset to every project. Your technical expertise combined with your ability to translate operational needs into user-friendly interfaces makes you an essential contributor to our team.
*Your role*
· Develop, configure, and maintain HMI systems, primarily using Inductive Automation?s Ignition platform.
· Design intuitive, real-time control and visualization dashboards for wind and solar farm operations.
· Collaborate with engineers and field teams to assess user needs and translate them into efficient and scalable interface designs.
· Integrate HMI systems with SCADA platforms, PLCs, and databases for seamless data communication and control.
· Ensure high availability and cybersecurity compliance for HMI infrastructure.
· Participate in the architecture of control room environments including screen layouts, alarm management, and data logging.
· Support the full lifecycle of HMI projects: from initial concept through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
· Contribute to other IT and automation projects to broaden your scope and impact.
*What we are looking for*
· Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Other combinations of education and experience will also be considered;
* Fluent in both written and spoken English;
* Demonstrated experience with HMI/SCADA development, preferably with Induction?s automation Ignition or similar platforms;
* History of commissioned HMI
* Good programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL);
* Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, IEC-61850 and DNP3);
* Experience with network configuration and cybersecurity best practices;
* Familiarity with virtualization environments and database systems.
