*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care within a hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication administration, managing pharmacy inventory, and ensuring compliance with medical terminology and protocols. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and a commitment to enhancing patient experiences. Meds&Care Pharmacy is a small business in Morinville, AB T8R 1R2. Responsibilities: - Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients - Prepare and package medications for distribution - Maintain inventory of medications and supplies - Enter prescription information into computer systems - Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries - Perform administrative tasks such as filing and organizing documents -Able to Perform compounding under supervision Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Atleast 2 years of Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting is required - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of medical terminology and medication names is a plus - Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software systems -Experience with KROLL software is required -Blister Packing Job Type: Part-time Expected hours: 20 ? 50 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00-$22.67 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 50 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationMorinville, AB
