Willow and Sage Counselling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Counsellor (RCC, CCC, or RPC) for a contract position in our Burnaby office. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families, particularly supporting those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, or sensory processing differences. This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting alongside BCBAs, OTs, and SLPs to support clients through a holistic, client-centred approach. Our clinic includes a fully equipped play therapy space and fosters a warm, collaborative environment. This is an associate role in which counsellors contribute a monthly membership fee in exchange for access to furnished clinic space, administrative support, and professional resources. The position offers flexibility, strong potential for cross-referrals, and opportunities for professional growth. We are looking for warm, friendly, and reliable professionals who value collaboration and are eager to join a supportive, collective practice. *Position Details:* * Contract position with flexible scheduling. * Initial shifts of 4?6 hours (Morning: 8:00 AM ? 2:00 PM or Afternoon/Evening: 2:30 PM ? 8:30 PM). * In-office work at our Burnaby location. * Open to discussing specific caseload focus and scheduling preferences. *Responsibilities:* * Provide individual and/or family counselling to children, teens, or parents. * Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client?s unique needs. * Utilize evidence-based approaches such as CBT, play therapy, narrative therapy, EFT, or ACT. * Maintain clear and timely documentation of sessions, assessments, and treatment progress. * Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., BCBAs, OTs, SLPs, paediatricians) to support holistic care. * Offer psychoeducation and parent support strategies when appropriate. *Requirements:* * Registration in good standing as an RCC, CCC, or RPC. * Experience providing counselling to children, youth, or families (play therapy or paediatric experience is a strong asset). * Warm, client-centred, and strengths-based approach. * Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. *Why Join Willow and Sage Counselling?* * Flexible scheduling and the ability to build your ideal caseload. * Maintain your own private practice as an associate of Willow and Sage Counselling. * Access to furnished office space with a play therapy setup. * High earnings potential with associate model. * Supportive, collaborative team environment with opportunities for cross-referrals. * Focus on professional growth and shared values of holistic, trauma-informed care.
