Rae's Bistro is a locally owned independent restaurant that focuses of fresh ingredients and quality food. We are looking for a professional Bartender Server to prepare and deliver mocktails, cocktails and comfort food to our guests. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our guest satisfaction. Qualified candidates will be invited in for a 3 hour paid working interview. Requirements: * Must have reliable transportation and be able to work week days and weekend days. * Proven experience, including suggestive sales and knowledge of fine wine, beer, spirits and proteins. * Minimum 1 year bartending experience required. * Minimum 2 years serving experience required. * Accuracy and speed when executing assigned tasks. * Can work 40 hours a week. * Must be available during the day year round Responsibilities: * Setting up and flipping bar mix and garnish with FIFO and proper food handling procedures. * Preparation of drinks in correct order (ex. chopping garnish, measuring spirits, pouring draft, shaking cocktails). * Serve items to spec with cooperation of up to 6 other team members. * Answer, report and follow managements instructions. * Sanitize bar, floors, booths and equipment. * Minimize wasted product. * Stock and organize inventory appropriately. * Ensure drinks leave the bar in a timely fashion in coordination with other stations. * Comply with all sanitation regulations from Manitoba Health. * Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
