*Job Overview* We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, along with excellent team management skills. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation while overseeing kitchen operations to ensure a smooth workflow. Your leadership will help inspire the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences in our restaurant. *Duties* * Supervise kitchen staff and assist in their training and development. * Oversee food preparation processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. * Create and develop new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. * Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain kitchen operations. * Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. * Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health regulations. * Assist in restaurant management tasks, including scheduling staff and managing kitchen budgets. *Skills* * Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. * Proficient in food preparation techniques and knowledgeable about food handling procedures. * Experience in restaurant management is a plus, with an understanding of kitchen operations. * Excellent culinary skills with creativity in menu design and presentation. * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. * A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
