*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food production, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests. This position requires a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to food safety and quality standards. *Duties* * Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and recipe development. * Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient food production. * Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality. * Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. * Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, presentation, and safety practices. * Collaborate with the catering team for special events and banquets. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. * Participate in shift management to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours. *Skills* * Proven experience in fine dining or restaurant management. * Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. * Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively. * Knowledge of inventory management and control processes. * Familiarity with menu planning and catering services. * Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management. * Understanding of food safety standards and regulations. * Background in hospitality with strong customer service skills. * Experience in the food industry, including dietary department knowledge is a plus. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
